Dr Claire McMahon

Dr Claire McMahon, from Kilmaley graduated with an honours degree in Medicine from NUI Galway in 2008. She entered the Mid West General Practice training program and qualified as a member of the Irish college of General Practioners in 2014. She joined Saffron and Blue in 2015 and became principle and partner in the practice shortly afterwards. She has completed diplomas in musculoskeletal medicine, women’s health and is trained in contraception and mirena/implanon insertions.

 

She has a broad knowledge base catering for all aspects of general practice. Her special areas of interest are orthopedic and sports medicine.

 

She has worked with several sports team in the past and is the current Clare Senior football doctor.
